But the meaning of life and fruition of dreams knows more than one time tested way

With it’s edges and it’s holes
The power plays and deception
And the struggle for control
Into the circling altar where the saints have their say
You have to grow up at nineteen, there is no other way

I tried to be social, I ended up staying alone
I got myself up, walked through the fire
And still found my way through the smoke
The fire’s deconstruction may have burned through the surface of love
But the flames slowly turned into white after burning above

And before I get older I just want to lie in this bed
Remember the nights where I couldn’t shut down, and all of those thoughts in my head
I wanna picture the nightmares and fairytales that played through my mind
And then run with the baggage into the uncertain times
